At Ashton Discount, our aim is to provide you with the lowest cost of delivery and the highest quality of service within the UK. Our delivery costs are calculated at the checkout page and are based on the postcode you entered into your checkout page and the weight and size of the items being delivered.

Courier Parcel Delivery Service - Smaller Items

Smaller items are delivered using MyHermes. They will contact you by text and/or email to let you know your delivery slot.

If the time or day is not convenient for you please contact us so that we can arrange your delivery for another day or have your parcel left safely with a neighbour.

Where possible please supply a mobile number so you can receive text messages from the courier company or in case we need to contact you about your order.

Details of our delivery charges for smaller items are as follows:

  • 0 - 2Kg: £3.99
  • 2 - 5Kg: £5.99
  • 5 - 10Kg : £7.99
  • 10 - 15Kg: £9.99

We regret that we cannot deliver to some Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands or outside of the UK.

Furniture & Larger Bathroom Items

Orders containing large or heavy items are charged based on your postcode. If you enter your postcode in the shopping cart you will be able to find out your calculated costs.

We regret that we are unable to deliver furniture & larger items to Northern Island, any off shore Islands, some remote islands, or outside of the UK.

If you live in the North West we will usually deliver your goods using our own Ashton Discount fleet and dedicated team. We will contact you shortly after we have received your order to confirm details and arrange a convenient delivery date and time. If you live outside the North West we will arrange delivery of your goods using our nominated national courier company either within 18 days of placing your order or as soon as your goods arrive to us (special order goods). The courier company will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.

Please Note: After the delivery date is confirmed by text, email or telephone it is very important that someone is at the address to take delivery, if not there may be an additional charge of up to £100.

Mirror and Picture Delivery Service

Mirrors and pictures will only be delivered to addresses in the North West using Ashton Discounts fleet and delivery team. Due to their fragile nature we cannot guarantee that there will not be any damages in transit provided by using the additional courier company.

Supplier Direct Delivery

Orders placed for items marked as direct delivery will be delivered by our approved supplier within 2-14 days (subject to stock availability). Please supply a mobile number on the checkout page for the suppliers courier to contact you about arranging your delivery.

We regret that we are unable to deliver these items to Northern Island, any Off Shore Islands, some remote mainland postcodes, or outside of the UK. Please click here for more information.

Click and Collect

When you place your order online you can choose to collect your goods. Our collection point is behind our store.

We will contact you when your order is ready for collection and advise you where to come if you are unsure.

Please bring a copy of your order confirmation email and the credit card you paid by when you come to collect your order. If you paid by PayPal please bring additional proof of ID such as a driving license or passport.

Please be aware that this returns policy applies only to goods purchased on the Ashton Discounts website.

Open and check your goods within 24 hours of receiving them and inform us of any damage immediately by emailing Customer Service or phoning us on 0161 339 4693. We will arrange for the damaged goods to be collected and for replacements to be delivered, or refunded, whichever your prefer.

All items must be returned unused, in perfect condition, and in their full original clean packaging, which must not be marked or written on. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on the following items:

  • Products which have been personalised for you, such as stationary or gifts.
  • Bespoke and made to order products such as furniture, sofas, bathroom furniture.
  • Items where any assembly has been started, this specially applies to furniture.
  • Mattresses, mattress toppers, pillows, duvets, divan beds or bedding unless unopened and unused in their original packaging.
  • Goods by reason of their nature cannot be returned including large bulk items.
  • Where a product has been specially ordered for you, unless faulty, we're unable to refund or offer an exchange. This will be clearly marked as being a product that is not in stock with a delivery time eg: 2 weeks.
  • Gas fires where the box has been opened, unless your Gas Safe Engineer provides a written statement that it is faulty.

For any goods returned to us through no fault of our own will carry a 20% restocking charge. (Cancellation of order due to it being an unwanted item or do not like the goods once you have receieved them).

We offer a free Monday to Friday Returns Service. If your goods were delivered by courier please ring 0161 339 4693 or email Customer Service and we will endeavour to pick up your goods using the same courier within 5 working days. If your goods were delivered using Ashton Discounts Home Delivery Service we will arrange a time suitable for you. Please Note: The free returns service only applies to faulty goods.

Alternatively you may make other arrangements at your own cost, however we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred in these circumstances.

Once your items have been received and checked we will process your refund within 14 days.

You can choose to return your goods to us in store. Here we will check the item or items and then process your refund. Please bring with you a copy of your order email and also the payment card you used to pay for your order.
